“Giddy Up” – 48 Hour Film Project
Last weekend I was partook in one of the largest film festival competitions in the world: The 48 Hour Film Project. My team was given a Western and 48 hours to completely write, film, edit and produce a 4-7 min short film for their worldwide competition. it was screened last night at the Sundance Cinema in Madison, WI. Check it out below!

Notes: Join us on the red carpet as we celebrate the 8th Annual Madison 48 Hour Film Project. Premiering Thursday, May 1 will be 29 short films created the weekend of April 25-27 by local filmmakers. One film will be awarded “Madison’s Best” on May 9 and will represent our talented city in the International 48HFP Competition.
Screening times are 7:00pm and 9:00pm. Each screening will showcase a different set of films. Tickets can be purchased at Sundance Cinemas starting at 5:00pm, day of show.

How to achieve that “cinematic/film look” with a DSLR camera
Many times I come across aspiring “directors” or “videographers”, especially in the music business, and most of the time their music videos (or videos in general) simply lack that professional “cinematic, film” look. With the Oscars being last Sunday, and hearing about them all this last week..I, myself have been in “movie mode” all week. With that said, I thought it would be a decent time to release some ‘deleted scenes’ and interviews from my own film “The Making of a Sellout”. A few days ago word was spread that the Chicago Bears won’t be re-signing Devin Hester. So to that I had to say: ADIOS Devin Hester, not really gonna miss you much, you have yielded absolutely ZERO results the past 4+ years. Don’t get me wrong…your first 2-3 years were GREAT, and we LOVED you in Chicago. But it’s like once you got your money, you just turned the switch off. Instead of hitting the gas and just GOING for the goal like your early years, you started dancing around like a ballerina, thinking you could juke and shake people. I believed you still had it in you, but something changed your mentality towards the game and you weren’t the same man who signed with Chicago in 2006. I LOVE Chicago, I LOVE where I’m from and my teams…I rep them to the CORE!! Hester stopped doing that for us on the field.

This past week I was visiting family and my cousins’ husband Ray and his son Briggs taught me how to start playing the drums. This is something I always wanted to learn and check off the bucketlist.
