I want to thank my Honduran family and people, Door Creek Church, our High School Ministry, students & family as well as all the people who donated and prayed for this mission trip to #Honduras. This is not even a fraction of the amazing work that was done by team 1 on week 1 (of 2). It was a trip that no amount of video or words could ever articulate. It changed my life and I am forever grateful for my #DoorCreekChurch team and all those that supported this trip and helped make a difference. Thank you all for letting us serve you. 🙏🇭🇳💓
5-Time Madison Hip-Hop Award Winner, 2019 Best of Madison Silver Award Winner and GRAMMY Considered Recording Artist Rip announces 4th studio album, Delivered, and debuts new song, “Jolene”, live at The World’s Largest Brat Fest Sunday, May 26, 2019 on the GRAND Stage.
Recording Artist Rip just did something not many Christian or faith-based Recording Artists have done. He just got done playing a live 40 minute set on Top40/Rhythmic radio with songs off his latest release, “Trinity”. The performance was part of a radiothon hosted by Krista Uelmen, of “Krista & The Morning Rush,” on WJQM-FM in Madison, WI in an effort to bring awareness to mental health and to battle addiction. Every song performed by Rip brought glory to God. An openly Christian Recording Artist transcending into Top40/Rhythmic radio is rarely heard of in this day and age.
Rip just came back from the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards where he was considered for “Best Contemporary Christian Performance & Song” for his single, “Drown”, as well as “Best Music Video” for his video “Satisfied”.
Rip is currently entering the studio to start work on a new album this year.
A few months ago I took a leadership position at church as a High School Youth Leader under the leadership of my brothers Tyler Sotebeer and RJ Trocke. It has been a VERY rewarding experience being able to lead these high school kids!!! This summer I get to be a leader and take some of these students on a trip down to Honduras as we plan to help serve down there! It’s going to be a lot of hard work but this team is excited to be a part of what God is doing in Honduras! 🙌🙏 Some things already discussed that we’ll be doing include but are not limited to: helping build homes, build bunk beds for kids who sleep on the floor, building a well etc… (I’ll most likely be bringing some of my film equipment to document the trip as well.)
We’ll be looking for prayers as well as help financially for anyone who feels lead to help this mission. It’s about $2k a person to go for a week (more for those going 2 weeks) and even if I hit my goal personally and become fully funded….we’re not fully funded until the whole team is fully funded. This covers travel, lodging and ministry projects.
To donate, please go to the following link and scroll down to my name, Josh “Rip” M, under the “Who Sent You This Form?” section to kindly donate.
