Christian Hip-Hop Takes Over Top 40 / Rhythmic Radio!!!
Recording Artist Rip just did something not many Christian or faith-based Recording Artists have done. He just got done playing a live 40 minute set on Top40/Rhythmic radio with songs off his latest release, “Trinity”. The performance was part of a radiothon hosted by Krista Uelmen, of “Krista & The Morning Rush,” on WJQM-FM in Madison, WI in an effort to bring awareness to mental health and to battle addiction. Every song performed by Rip brought glory to God. An openly Christian Recording Artist transcending into Top40/Rhythmic radio is rarely heard of in this day and age.
Rip just came back from the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards where he was considered for “Best Contemporary Christian Performance & Song” for his single, “Drown”, as well as “Best Music Video” for his video “Satisfied”.
Rip is currently entering the studio to start work on a new album this year.

Wisconsin Badgers finish off Kentucky (Madison, WI)

I may not be from WI originally…but WI has definitely become my #2 home for life. For the last 7 years, Madison & Badgers alike have supported my livelihood/DJ career and given me a place to call home. I have helped PLENTY of Badgers party their college years away and give them memories to last. I have probably seen and done pretty much all that you can being a DJ in Madison, WI. I have grown a spot in my heart for Madison. With that said, I was happy to be a part of their Final Four victory. Check out this video of Madison, WI celebrating their win last night at Whiskey Jacks on State St (Madison, WI).
#SelloutSunday (Ep 30) – A week in the life of Rip (Summer 2014)
This week I take you along on a ‘week in the life of Rip’.
Original version of Eminem’s “Monster”
It’s no secret that I love Eminem’s new song “Monster”. I have had it on repeat when I workout and for some reason I have been able to relate to it like crazy…it’s just one of those songs that happen to resonate with you at a certain point in your life.
Well, did you know it’s not an original song? It is a remake of a song by an artist named Bebe Rexha. She wrote the song 3 years ago voicing her frustrations with the music industry.
